Model

THE MRF MODEL:
It is a model designed to engage with the student from the beginning of her/his academic career, through her/his studies and even during her/his professional life.

THE PROSPECTIVE STUDENT:

The student is welcome to contact the MRF for any type of problem related to study abroad. The student is may wish to visit our office to meet one on one with our highly trained friendly staff. The MRF office is open: Monday to Friday; 0900 to 1700. No appointment is required and consultation is free of charge.
The MRF Orientation Course is quiet popular amongst the prospective students and their sponsors. The course is structured to emphasize that the decision to study abroad must transcend the mere ambition to get out of the country.
The orientation course tends to:
  • Answer Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) that usually impede the decision to study abroad.
  • Educate prospective students on the requirements of the foreign HEIs with emphasis on interpretation of eligibility criteria.
  • Provide general information on how to process admission and a study visa.

The MRF Library/Resource Centre is another facility open to the prospective student. It has a collection of prospectuses, brochures, flyers and other printed matter of various foreign HEIs.
We also stock maps, posters and informational booklets of major cities in the world. The library collection also provides such information as socio- cultural differences amongst nations.

THE CURRENT STUDENT:
The MRF Tracking System engages with the current student irrespective country of residence, institution of study and course choice.
The MRF tracking system is a model developed to monitor the performances of the student. The system confidentially stores the student's progress while in college and provides feedback to her/his parents and sponsors.
This tradition makes it easy for parents and sponsors to verify through MRF database, for example:
  • Whether, the student has truly progressed from the first to the second year.
  • Whether, such student has settled corresponding tuition fees and so forth.
